Halloween Suzukitreff 2018

Uranienborg Suzukiorkester, Oslo Suzuki Piano and Suzukicellister are proud to present Halloween Suzukitreff 2018!

Violinists, cellists and pianists of all ages and levels are welcome to participate on Saturday, 27th October 2018.

The workshop will be held at Marienlyst skole with group lessons in the morning and orchestra rehearsals in the afternoon. The workshop will conclude with a spooky Halloween concert and party for young witches and wizards, goblins and ghouls, and any other fun and imaginative characters you can dream up of! Parents and non-playing siblings are welcome to come in costume, too!

The workshop repertoire is now available and should be well practiced before the workshop with teachers from the greater Oslo area.

DATE:

Saturday 27th October 2018

TIME:

kl. 9.30 – 18.00. New beginners aged between 3 and 5 years of age start at kl 12.30.

Registration/Check-in on Saturday morning and instrument setup starts at kl 9.

Halloween concert in the performance hall, Aula, at kl 15.30 and party after the concert.

Friends and family are welcome to attend the concert. Entrance is free.

PRICE:

Kr 200 per participant (New beginners aged 3 to 5 years - Kr 100)

Bring packed lunches and drinks on Saturday.

We request that every participating orchestra help contribute cakes and finger foods that will be served at the Halloween party after the concert.

Marienlyst skole, Blindernveien 5, 0361 Oslo

Public transport: Metro to Majorstuen. Bus nr. 20 from Majorstuen (1 stop) towards Ullevål.

There is free parking available at NRK / Store Studio on Saturday (Europark).

During breaks, children will have opportunities to play in the school's playground and football field.

Registration is binding. The fee is to be paid to Uranienborg Suzukiorkester bank account number (1503.22.19745), stating "Halloween 2018" and your child's name clearly in the payment reference.

The deadline for registration and payment is Monday, 15th October 2018.

N.B. Personal music note stands, instrument cases and other personal belongings should be labelled clearly with your children's names.
